It has come to light that MBLAQ’s Lee Joon has asked to withdraw from MBC’s reality-variety program We Got Married. The producers of the show and Oh Yeon Seo’s agency are discussing the issue. On January 29, a representative of Wellmade Star M, which manages Oh, told TV Report, “We’re in the middle of discussions about Oh’s couple quitting We Got Married. A final decision will be made by the end of this week.”
Since September last year, Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo have appeared as one of the virtual couples on the fourth season of the show. However, as Oh was caught up at the beginning of this year in a scandal with Lee Jang Woo, with whom she appears in MBC’s daily series Oh Ja Ryong is Coming, they have faced some big obstacles. To make matters worse, Lee Joon posted on the official MBLAQ fan club site, “Am I a robot? For whom should I continue this? I’ve had enough, and I have my own opinions about what’s going on. Has anyone apologized sincerely? I feel terrible faking it when everyone can tell I don’t mean it, and I can’t act as if everything’s okay, because I’m a human being.” As his posting created a big stir, his agency apologetically requested his withdrawal from the show.
